HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN!

We had a wonderful party last night for Jordan's 16th birthday. We were so excited to have Baine's sister and her girls here to help us celebrate. Aunt Cathy was busy almost from the minute she and the girls arrived. It was great to have her here to help. We had lots of fun dancing the night away and eating Baine's yummy chicken wings. We can hardly believe that she is sixteen.

I finally made it out to the building site this afternoon. I have not been out since Saturday and I wanted to see the windows. They look great and the window that Baine added to the plans looks fabulous. I was even able to help out while I was there.

Happy Fathers Day
We got to sleep in this morning to celebrate the sixteen years Dad has been our dad. After mom made us pancakes, we headed to Lowes where Dad picked out the cordless drill he wanted. The boys and I washed dad's truck and got him an eight ball knob for his gear changer. We ate lunch at a pizza shop where we ran into "Snoop Dogg", and now mom has been singing "Gin and Juice" all day and we think she's been smoking something. This slideshow will explain that.....

This guys are making great strides. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do. Since I started working I am always excited to download the pictures and see the progress that they are making each day.

WE ARE READY FOR A VACATION!

It was a trying weekend. Lots of geometry equations and heavy lifting, while we were 15 feet in the air. We will all be glad to get the roof finished.

 

Not much accomplished for today but Baine and the boys have been busy all week. The deck is looking great and the floor joist for the loft are all in now. We are hoping to get the rafters in this weekend. Dad was short helpers this week but he and Jeremiah had fun on the property today, or at least Jeremiah did. We got some much needed rain which caused the turtles to come out into the road and Smooty saved the day or at least the turtle.

 

 

A Little Progress
