SCHOOL DAYS

Jordan and Jacob are going to Cookeville High this year and Jeremiah is at the middle school. They are all playing sports and Jordan and Jeremiah are about to audition for Cookeville Children's Theatre. It is going to be a busy fall.

WILD KINGDOM

Yes, that is a bird on Jordan's shoulder. Last week Baine and I went on a walk and found a baby fird in the middle of the road. We tried to find the nest but had no success. So, home the bird went....and every two hours throughout the day he has to be fed a special formula made by Jordan (boiled eggs, cat food, apple sauce and bird vitamins all blended together in the blender) Thank goodness he sleeps all night.

THE JACKSON'S CABIN

Well, it is finally painted and boy does it look great. The painters worked on the Spence Lane cabin for about 4 days and finally finished yesterday afternoon, just in time for Tommy's visit. Now he and Baine are working on the back deck. I think Tommy will need a vacation from his vacation after this week. We miss you Shirley.

MIRROR, MIRROR, ON THE WALL WHO HAS THE BIGGEST MUSCLE?
There is no shortage of manliness in this household. If the men in my family are not comparing muscles, then they are having a feat of strength contest or boxing in the backyard....Do you think Grandma is going to go crazy?

ONE SMOKIN' TRACTOR!

We took a road trip to Valdosta Georgia for the 4th of July Holiday. There was a family reunion with lots of family, food and fun. We then packed up the car and brought Grandma home with us to stay....We are glad to have her here.

FUN WITH THE COUSINS
After getting the doors up at the cabin, we all headed to the lake for a swim. The water was warm and we all had a blast. We ended the day with some BBQ and fireworks. It has been a fun visit with Cathy and the girls here.
